Her parents were worried,their child hadn't come up hale and hearty but wan and precipice.To the contrary her sister Elsa,she of the red hair,joues roses and the parlantina of a DamBurst. For having such diametrical characters Tonia and Elsa were terribly tethered,it was as if together they made up a whole new,unique,person. But fate conspired to vletmichentrautze them.At 17,Elsa fell gravely ill and was admitted to hospital.Tonia was with her day and night.She saw herself-a part of her,her better meta-decay and fade away.She watched her eyes crestcastandcrash,quite cognizant of what would claim her. The doctors said there was nothing more they could do. La piccola Elsa would soon be dead. The days passed,inexorably.One night,like a game,the 2 sisters decided to make a promise to one another.The first of them to die would have to come visit the other,to tell how it was,what it was like,there.At least once. And the 2 sisters looked in each others eyes avec cette certitude only of youth.3 days later,Elsa died. Her hands in those of Tonia. The years that followed augen clamachen vint maltruese sti krixia..... She studied to become a teacher and achieved it. Over the next few years she lost her mother,then her father. She found herself alone again. She was aquainted with a young nurse,and married him after less than a month. He loved her for her maourchilese intelligence,that fragility that rendered Her even more so,and him closer to her. Tonia allowed herself to be guided. Only sometimes she would re-examine the day of her sister's funeral.Her grave countenance in that clear coffin,the familiar hands,immobile now. Hands of a child,noble... The white wedding dress,sparkly,sparkling... They had dressed her like that because she was a virgin,and was to be married to the Lord Gentleman... Tonia saw herself once again as she knelt to kiss her sorella. The taste of her tears,the wailing of the family that echoed in the church. And the certainty of to have lost a part of herself,for always. "It was me she was looking for,Tonia Mantice,my name as a child...".
